Deal of the Day!

So a couple of weeks ago at Jack Rogers, my boss asked me if the boots I was wearing were Frye boots. I told her they were actually from Target and she freaked. Her boots were Frye and ours looked exactly the same. We had the whole sales department trying to find my shoes on target.com and low and behold we found them. They were about $200 less than what my boss paid for! I had to share this with you guys. As you all know, I get all my shoes from Target because not only are they really cute, but they are SO affordable.

Lilly Pulitzer Spring 2013

Ok, ok, so I'm about to be like everyone else that you probably follow on blogger and post about the new Lilly Spring collection. But I seriously can't help it! It has to be my favorite collection yet. I could probably post about every single item, however I am sharing with you my favorite ones- it was quite a hard decision though, mind you.

Thank goodness my birthday is only two months away, so I cannot wait to ask for maybe some of these as potential birthday presents. I'm also going on a cruise with my family this summer, so it's definitely a given that I will have to splurge on one for that!

Christmas Eve!

Merry Christmas Eve, y'all! Christmas Eve is such an exciting day, I think I like it even more than actual Christmas day! My family always goes out with my best friend's family to Carrabbas  for some yummy Italian food for dinner, and then we always come back to my house for desert! This year, my boyfriend and I are exchanging gifts today and I'm so excited to see his face when he opens my gifts I got him! I hope you guys have a fabulous day! Winter Wonderland

Well, it is definitely winter outside! Today, we were supposed to get bad weather in New York City, but I definitely wasn't expecting snow! We got about five or six inches today. Going to my class this morning, it was a drizzling a little bit outside, but was I surprised to see snow when I came out of class! It was absolutely freezing and I was not dressed for the occasion. Later today when meeting a sister from my sorority for dinner, I decided it was time to break in the winter jacket for the first time this year! Happy Halloween everyone! I hope you all have a great night, whether you're out in costumes with your friends, or watching scary movies and eating candy! I'll probably be doing the later since the subways are still down going to Manhattan. But American Horror Story goes on tonight so I'm pretty excited!

For those of you freaking out over costumes, fret not there's still time! DIY Costumes are some of the cutest ideas ever and are way better than spending tons of money on costumes at Party City. Here's an idea I recently came up with:

What I like about this idea is that all you really need to get is a superman cape and a cheap pair of glasses from the dollar store, if you are blessed with perfect vision unlike some of us. ;)

In Need of Boots!

Hey guys! So while I ave been stuck in my dorm for the past few days (everything's fine where I am by the way, don't worry!), I have a crisis on my hands. I need new riding boots. I've worn mine out so much that they're falling apart at the seems. Literally.  I've been searching endlessly for the perfect pair, and ones that I can splurge on so that I knew they'll be good quality.
