I Need Summer!

Is it just me or has winter been dragging on a little too much? I know it's still February, but it seems like it's been here forever. Here in Georgia, it was super nice for a couple of days! Nice enough that I could wear a pair of norts and go walking around my neighborhood. But then this week happened. Today was in the thirties again! Ugh!

Because of this awful weather I have had one thing on the brain: SUMMER. I am definitely in need of summer pronto. Nice weather, laying out by the pool, I want it all! Since I have been thinking of it so much, I wanted to share with you some of my favorite summer essentials:

1) Croakies: I feel like croakies are needed, especially if you are going to be wearing sunglasses all the time like I am! These Vineyard Vines ones are cute and come in various colors!

2) A cute pair of sandals: I think sandals are a definite for summer! You can dress them up or just wear them for any occasion! Jack Rogers especially are popular in the summer.

3) A good pair of shorts: Shorts are essential wether their denim, khaki, whatever! These J. Crew chino shorts a great when you feel like adding a pop of color to your outfit!

4) A nice bathing suit: Obviously, bathing suits are needed for summer! Whether you're at the pool, beach, or lake you wanna look cute! Pink by Victoria's Secret has a great selection!

Deal of the Day!

So a couple of weeks ago at Jack Rogers, my boss asked me if the boots I was wearing were Frye boots. I told her they were actually from Target and she freaked. Her boots were Frye and ours looked exactly the same. We had the whole sales department trying to find my shoes on target.com and low and behold we found them. They were about $200 less than what my boss paid for! I had to share this with you guys. As you all know, I get all my shoes from Target because not only are they really cute, but they are SO affordable.

First Day at Jack Rogers!

Hey guys! Sorry for the lack of posts. I've been super bus with my new internship, classes, and preparations for recruitment! If I make it out of this semester without any break downs, I will be very pleased with myself.

So, I'm sure you want to hear all about my internship. I absolutely love it! My boss, Carley, gave me a tour of the office, and showed me the show room of all the Spring shoes! I can't tell you what they're like, but I think you all will be very pleased with them :) I also organized all the sample shoes and did some filing for all the accounts that are being processed with Jack Rogers. Here's a picture of my outfit I wore on the first day:

I'm not gonna lie, wearing flats was a pretty bad idea. It ended up snowing and on my walk back from the but stop to my dorm, I couldn't feel my toes they were so numb!

I also got my own little notebook and laptop for the office!

My first day went by faster than I thought it would, and I can't wait to go back on Tuesday! 

Jack Rogers Internship!

Today I have some VERY exciting news!

I'm going to be interning for Jack Rogers!!!! Oh my goodness, I still can't believe it!

I feel so blessed to be interning for such an amazing company! I plan on blogging about it as soon as I start my first day, when I get back to New York! :) I'm going to be an intern in the Sales department, so I will be working with samples and stock!

What I Love this October

Happy October everyone! It's the season of Starbucks, sweaters, and riding boots! I'm so excited because living in New York gives me so many opportunities to take advantage of all of those things- especially since we have a Starbucks where I have the majority of my classes. My Addiction to Target

So, of course I couldn't not go a couple of days without blogging. Yesterday, I went to Marshall's Shoe Shop, which is pretty much just a Marshall's but all shoes! They had the greatest selection of shoes, but there was one problem: there were no shoes in my size! I'm an eleven in shoes, so it is pretty much an adventure trying to find shoes in my size. But thank goodness for Target! I walked in and right away I found dozens of shoes in my size! It was so hard for me to pick but I finally found five that caught my eye:

New Obsession!

So lately I've had an obsession with shoes. I guess I get it from my mother because she has about 300 pairs of shoes in her closet right now- talk about a shoe lover's paradise! But I have to say, some of my favorite shoes to wear are sandals. I'm not too crazy about heels- yeah they may be cute, but when you're 5'10 you don't want to be towering over everyone, especially when you're boyfriend is only an inch or two taller than you. Sandals to me are great for walking around, especially when flats or other shoes can give you major blisters on the back of your ankles. This is why I am now in love with Jack Rogers.

Jack Rogers sells a variety of colors and designs. The shoes can vary from sparkles, funky prints, collegiate colors, and even sorority colors. Jack Rogers even sells the most adorable wedges and flats. And for all you monogram lovers, he sells sandals with those too! The best part is, they are all pretty convenient prices!
